How to fix this computer error while opening a browser to surf the web?.

If you a fan of FF,every time when Firefox opened ,a pop up window screen stated " TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined"

TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined

The [cid]can be any add-ons component, for example:

TypeError: Components.classes['@thunder.com/thundercomponent;1'] is undefined

To fix this problem ,the only way you can do is uninstall the add-ons .

Try to following steps:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshooting extensions and themes and Troubleshooting plugins If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe Mode start window to disable all extensions. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

If you know which Firefox add-ons component course the problem,just disable it or uninstall it, If you really unsure which add-ons component course the error, disable all add0ons, then I will start enabling one by one until I find the issue. I will try to remember to add a comment once I find it!

firefox browser security settings problem:FIX

If you use FF browser and come across these Error message:

"Your browser security settings don't permit the editor to........."

 "Because of your browser security settings, the editor is not able to access your clipboard data directly. You are required to paste it again in this window. Please paste inside the following box using the keyboard (Ctrl+V)"

It not allow you to copy and paste when editing post,this problem happened on part of the content rich html post editor such as FCKEditor for WordPress.

To enable these functions for purposes of the demo, you must modify your browser preferences.

Now that something very annoying and might be too complicated to certain users.

Method #2:
Get this Add-ons for Firefox:AllowClipboard Helper 

 After install the add on ,click on "tools",select "AllowClipboard Helper" to add the allow list.If you are running a local host wordpress, the "server" that add to the list would always be "http://localhost".It should able to solve the problem.
